inspired duo

http://www.inspiration-lane.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=4816

What you need to do: - Pick a designer to collab with and post here to sign-up. - If you do not have a collab provider already set up with the designer you are collabing with, please email me at inspirationlanecs@gmail.com with your name and the other designer's name and the email address that you want that provider account to be set up with.

After you receive your provider login, you will upload to that FTP and login to the provider area of X-cart with the login info I give you. - Your collab will debut on the Wednesday the newsletter goes out, so please have your collab in the store, set to Hidden but Available, and posted in the appropriate CT chatter release thread by the previous Wednesday.

- Create a small freebie to give out in the newsletter - 2 papers and 4 or 5 elements from your collab kit.

- If you want to include a coupon, please email the coupon code and details to me atinspirationlanecs@gmail.com. Prior to setting up your coupon, please contact me to find out how many newsletter subscribers we have. If you are having a special sale, please email the details to me.

- Each designer can pick up to 2 products to have featured in the newsletter. Please email me the links to those products.

April 21, 2010 - shelleyrae & Chris Greiser

Fabulous! Thanks Chris - how many papers/eles each? I was thinking maybe 10 papers and 25 eles each?

So, what about this swatch (totally lifted from that first card and the background is off white):

We have birthday theme with funky, fun acrylic ellies? Woo!

...I usually wind up with wrinkly bumpy papers... Not to grungy, though, lol! The paper pack I just posted in club click is pretty typical.

For elements, definitely graphic, maybe acrylic or paper?

Funky works for me. What sort of textures are you thinking? paper type textures?

I'm stoked for this. Birthday is a great theme... I have to be honest, though... Theme kits haven't been my strong suit, lol!

What about these for inspiration:

Is funky okay? I'd love to play with the green, teal, and cream that are on the cake - what other colors do you think?

Rachel and hi had picked a theme - birthdays - but that was about all and I am willing to change if you have any other ideas. I know its not til April but it creeps up quick so I'd love to have some plans in place soon. Let me know your ideas - suggest swatches etc

Look forward to working with you

Order tracking for accounting.

in Xcart, export -
     Orders (without images) in one file {orders}
     Order items (without images) in one file {orderlineitems}
Coupons & products in one file
Combine orders in single worksheet with column A being store tag (SUN, ESS, etc.), column B being month, C being day, D being year
This formula will generate the truncated date (calc in separate sheet, copy and paste over original) for original date in column B with target location being column C:
                     {Column C} =MID(LEFT(B2,(LEN(B2)-12)),(FIND("y ",LEFT(B2,(LEN(B2)-12)))+2),20)
Pull month, day, and year with these formulas for truncated date generated in column C:
                     {Column F} =MID(C2,4,LEN(C2)-8)
                     {Column G} =LEFT(C2,2)
                     {Column H} =RIGHT(C2,4)

IL - ADSR

IL is participating in ADSR again this year! For those of you who don't know, ADSR is the Amazing Digi Scrapping Race, based on the popular tv show, the Amazing Race. you can see last year's festivities on the NDSIB ADSR4 blog here: http://ndisb-adsr.blogspot.com/
I participated last year as a scrapper and not only had a lot of fun with it, but was also introduced to sites and designers I had never seen or visited before ----- Inspiration-Lane included.
Last year IL's ADSR challenge participants received a copy of "Snowbuddies" ... a mega kit put together by the designers that were here in the store at the time. We'd like to do the same this year. SO, DC is putting together a challenge, we're going to do some giveaways (info on this will be in another thread) and we've (finally) settled on a swatch for the site redesign and thought it awesome to use that for the mega.

Participation in this kit is NOT required, however.... this is an AWESOME opportunity to put a sample of your designs in people's hands. There will be LOADS of scrappers participating - if you look at the ADSR blog down the left side of the page, there are race participant blinkies and each blinkie represents 2 scrappers... so we're talking in the 450+ range of scrappers.

Kit Name: So Inspired!
Due Date: Feb 6, 2010

Theme: cheerful, but not TOO rainbow-y, if that makes any sense?, artsy, inspirational, every day life --- our new site design is going to be black & white with splashes of color if you want to base it on that, but we don't want everything black and white, kwim?

Metal to use: Silver

We need 5 patterned papers and 10 UNIQUE elements. Please refrain from making more that 1 string or ribbon for your contribution and do not include any dots or stripes in your papers (you can make a paper that has stripes and dots in it or dots filled with shapes or dots in addition to another pattern on the paper. What we don't want is 5 basic swiss dot papers and 5 basic striped papers)

some images for inspiration...

Feb CAC at ESS

http://enchantedstudioscraps.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7348
